Last nights (Thur 7th Jan) outage

Hi all,
I'm sorry to report we had a major outage that affected all of the sites on the XRV web server.
It lasted for around 6 hours until a major link was restored at our web hosts Merula at 12:30am last night.

I get loads of texts and emails normally at these times as people worry it is a problem at their end. The first thing I tend to do is to post on Twitter to let people know what's happening. It's normally the quickest way for me to get a message out. So whilst I appreciate that you may not want to be following Twitter all of the time you can just log on to Twitter and type xrvorguk (no dots) in to the search box and it will give you the latest updates.
