Well we decided to do something different and just at the right time Magwa's Bongo came up for sale on my motorbike forum.
I'd seen the Bongo's but not really understood what they were or what the offered, until I saw the advert.
They are imports as they weren't officially sold in this country via the Mazda dealer network. They are generally very high spec with electric everything as the come from Japan. Ours has an electric pop up roof, electric blinds, etc, etc... and it has a little kitchen with sink and hob. So it filled a gap of allowing us to get away quickly perhaps do some surfing in North Devon or Cornwall and generally getting away at weekends.
The only down side if there is one is that it has a gas guzzing diesel 2.5L.. well compared to my new VW Golf Bluemotion that sips diesel to the tune of 60+ mpg.
