Goodwood Festival of Speed

We're away in our Bongo on a test run at the moment in West Sussex.
Honda had some spare tickets for the Goodwood Festival of Speed, as my motorbike website is based around Honda Trail/Adventure Bikes, so it was nice of them to offer them to me, and for me to be free with no solid plans for this time!
So we found a campsite that was not far from Goodwood, Sumners Ponds Campsite near to Horsham. So far the site looks lovely, we're pitched up overlooking one of the fishing lakes. We bought a Khyam Motordome at the weekend which we've just set-up. Very impressive, solid and quick to put up, just like my Khyam Biker tent. It attaches simply to the side of the Bongo with no hassle, and it's a "drive away awning" so that tomorrow we can leave it up and hopefully it will be there when we get back! Not forgetting of course to detach it before we set off.
So just having a relax now before we set off for the village pub and then a meal.

    Sumners Ponds campsite was a great location, but..... poor facilities. I don't know what it is with these places. They did have a new block that they had built, but in that the blokes only had one toilet, and one disabled toilet to service some 30+ pitches in one field. Why on earth they don't put in more is beyond me. We stayed in the other field opposite reception which again was fantastic overlooking the lake, beautiful location, but for the gents just two portacabin loos that really weren't great for £20 per night. I could go on, but won't bother...... probably somewhere to avoid unless you are taking your own facilities with you.
