We're off camping tomorrow for a long weekend in Dorset.
Looking forward to getting away again in the Tipi. Did I mention we'll have the wood burning stove with us.

A few new things to try out.....

We've bought the fry pan and the fry dish (read wok) for the COBB BBQ. Actually we have cheated already and have tested these. Absolutely brilliant. In fact we also cooked a whole chicken on the Cobb the other day with roast veggies as well. It was lovely.
Also decided to do away with the separate beds and sleeping mats and to try a double airbed to see how we get on with it.... a bit of luxury.
I'll also be taking my favourite stove out of the 3 I bought the other week. And the favourite stove is..... The Coleman Sportster that came in the case.

One last thing, when I was at the XRV meet a few weeks ago I started to look at other small biking tents that gave me similar room to the Khyam Biker. I fancy a change now, the Coleman Phad X3 really caught my eye, it seems to have a much smaller pack size than the Biker as well with not too much compromise on the size. It is a bit smaller. Will have a think and will see if I can get any end of season bargains.

Yup the Phad is a goodun and I would buy again. Fits in both a Honda and the small BMW Pannier and has plenty room inside.. Its not perfect mind but the best I have found to date.

Dave is it worth buying the fry dish if you've already got the wok?

Yes, because the fry dish is dead flat for doing eggs, bacon, etc on it... The wok obviously is well wok shaped.
