Well we arrived at the blue hills camp site in Cornwall about 4pm.
We're all setup and just had something to eat.
Site looks like nice and quiet, not seen Gary and loo yet.

Weather isn't great, very misty, but hopefully it will clear tomorrow.

We've set up the tarpaulin as boris has and it works a treat, more pictures to come.
So I reckon this is a great solution for tentipi owners at a bargain price.

I've added some pics so they hopefully show in detail how I've fixed the tarp. This worked well until the wind got up and I decided to take the tarp down to stop it all getting pulled to shreds.

You look to have rigged it slightly differently to the way I do. I run a line through the loop at the top and peg it out behind the tipi. Main reasons were so I could adjust how it sat without dropping the main pole and more importantly I could lower it to the ground if the weather was looking to become particularity windy. I suppose it also keeps the pull on the main tipi pole downwards where its strongest rather than sideways.

And it's not the correct colour. However did you get that past the director of colour coordination?

Doh! Well done. We were trying to work out how to do it! Will try that next time.
The colour is actually a great match for the base of the Safir so apparently it's ok.
