  1. Golden Cap Campsite - Seatown

by on 31-07-2011 at 10:41 AM
We've met some friends for the weekend at the Golden Cap Campsite in Seatown, Dorset. We're in the Bongo this time, so no Tipi.
It's a bit different from the last time we were here when it was quite literally blowing a gale with torrential rain. It's lovely and sunny and hardly any wind at all, so different its incredible.
Not the most up to date of sites, but there are plenty of facilities and even when busy I've not had to queue for a shower or anything.
    We're just packing up ...

We're away in our Bongo on a test run at the moment in West Sussex.
Honda had some spare tickets for the Goodwood Festival of Speed, as my motorbike website is based around Honda Trail/Adventure Bikes, so it was nice of them to offer them to me, and for me to be free with no solid plans for this time!

by on 21-05-2011 at 10:37 AM
Well we're in a fantastic site here in North Devon, Warcombe farm. Very impressive site, great modern facilities, good pitches, many surrounded by matures trees and shrubs. Great area as well. We took a walk on Thursday evening and came across a chap called Bob Waters who does sculptures in stainless steel. They were very very impressive.

I've got more pictures on the camera of his work, which I'll share when we get home. His ...

We're off camping again in the tipi... must get the big tent out some time!
We're heading to North Devon and the site at Warcombe Farm. Emailed and spoken to the team there and they have welcomed us with the Tipi and woodburner which is nice.
Just packing now.... hopefully will get a reasonable signal there and will keep my blog going on what we've been up to.
Hope to do some surfing whilst we are there... body boards and wetsuits ready to go in the car.
We now have the fun ...
