Scotland - Skye - Kinloch campsite Dunvegan

Situated in Dunvegan Skye this small site is right on the banks of the sea loch and has some stunning views of Skye. There are probably about 20-30 pitches for touring vans and space for about the same again in tents.

Location is just across the river from the village and is about 10 minutes walk away due to the need to go upstream a little way to the bridge. In the village there are 3 pubs / hotels and a handful of shops.

The site has few facilities over the toilets / Showers / dishwash but these were kept clean and tidy. In fact the whole site was extremely clean and tidy. The gentleman in reception was charming and extremely helpful.

It is quite an exposed location and was rather windy when we were there but that's Skye for you.

Cost wise it was only £5 for me, a small tent and the motorbike so a bargain.

Would I go again? Definitely.
