Britain's Best Campsites by the Sea?

I think you need a campsite close to the beach as well as the pub. Or better still a pub on the beach. My favourite one of these is the Watering Hole in Perranporth, there is a local campsite but have not stayed there so cannot give any feedback on that one.

My favourite campsite is Little Trevarrack Holiday Park which is close to St Ives. Very good for families, lots of activities and easy walk to a sheltered beach. It has St Ives on the doorstep which is lovely. We have visited loads of campsites in the area and this definitely is one of our favourites for camping in St Ives.

Last week I spent 4 days in the Mid Wales Coast in Glan-Y-Mor (Caravan park Wales - Glan y Môr. Leisure caravan parks on the Welsh Coast.) and sea view was absolutely stunning. The camping facilities were ok, very nice pool & bowling area. Toilets and showers were not the best ones but at the end it is a camping and not a hotel so it was ok for me and my friends.
You should be careful with the weather as one day it was very windy (which is normal since it is by the sea), however, the fantastic sea view made up for it. I really recommend it if you are looking for a well-priced nice camping (and caravan park) by the sea.
