I drove past Kintyre, Caravan Holiday Park + Apartment + Touring Park with Sea Views. on my way down to campbeltown a couple of weeks ago.

It looked basic but nice and I nearly stopped there for the night but in the end I went to Port Ban instead. Views and facility wise they are much of a muchness but I reckon the 15 miles of gravel strewn singletrack road to Port Ban just causes it to lose out.

If I'm down that way again I'll certainly consider stopping for the night.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

Happisburgh in Norfolk has a campsite that is by the sea and also a pub, for those of you who want the best of both worlds.

(A small prize of 30 ounces of kudos to the first person who correctly pronounces Happisburgh!)

Now I come to search for a link I can't find one. Maybe it's fallen into the sea.

The Caravan and Camping site at Beadnell Bay is a must. Cross the road to an empty beach. great facilities and the worlds best fish and chip shop a short walk away

My best camping experience bar none.

They have completley missed off some of the best by the sea - anywhere on Lewis and Harris Barra or anywhere in the OH or up the west coast of Scotland.

Some of the best beaches and scenery in the world to camp in /by.
