    Default Campsite GPS locations

Has anyone found a good database of GPS coordinates for UK (and French) campsites that I could put into my Zumo? It is a real absence I feel.

I'm actually going to build something I think.
I can see a gap for a totally comprehensive campsite directory with downloadable GPS co-ords, contact details, reviews and users comments, etc...
Tentipi Safir 9 CP - Keeping us warm in the night.

Khyam Biker - Keeping me dry for the last few years.

It would be useful to have searchable some sort of comfort rating. The sort of thing other sites miss out. When I'm on my own all I really need is loos and somewhere to have a wash in the morning so I am happiest with somewhere cheap and cheerful.

When with the family we want a little more but still don't want the swimming pool and onsite pub.

Other things that would be handy to know are how far to the nearest pub / village shop etc. Whether they charge by the pitch or by the head (it makes a big difference if you are on your own)

Best of all would to be able to put in a location and get a list of sites sorted by distance that meet my criteria.

I could go on for hours here.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

    yip, I agree..

I saw a searchable map on campsite website, its good but relies on paid additions..

I like a map based search so you can see exactly where a site is, agreed reviews and photos. As well as are they child friendly, (we look for non-child friendly sites). Also are they dog friendly, very important to us. shops / pub how close etc etc

Along with the usual contact details..

If it was possible to do it without having to charge the campsite an addition fee for listing , I think you could have cornered the market. Because then you could get every campsite on the list..

I.E. We searched a area to find campsite , only 1 listed , so we booked only to find when we went that there where 5 small campsites in that area, that where not listed.
