Default Northumberland - Borders Forrest Caravan Park

    Midges, midges and more midges

Apart from that £7.50 a head.
Long walk to toilets, dish wash and shower.
Grass quite long and tents situated next to marshland so lots of midges.
1 fresh water tap at end of tent field

    Did I mention the midges?

I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

    Adding to this thread..

The campsite is split into 2 by a stream .. The sign says do not cross between 10.30pm and 7.30am ..

The caravan part is mostly statics and seasonal tourers. If you indend to visit with caravan you would need to book ahead.

The tent field is quite a walk to the toilet block. The toilets were slightly dated but clean , there was reports of water flood in the ladies but the showers were FREE and good pressure and heat.

They definitely have a midge problem, so be aware. When the weather is calm.

    Nice location.

Good walks for the dogs, along into the woods.
