Question Rugged coastal camping in Wales

Hi all, I'm very keen to get back into camping but I really enjoy the secluded and basic experience. Not to fussed on to many amenities, just a quiet place to pitch that's close to the beach in South West Wales. Do such places exist? Or by asking too little am I asking too much? Please help.

    James.

    Hi James

Try this: tipi holidays, yurt holidays, camping in Pembrokeshire, glamping - camping

I've not been but it seems to tick your boxes.

Hi James, try this site: Newgale Camping Site - Newgale Camping Site is located in an area of unspoilt natural beauty in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park, on route of the Coastal Path with fascinating offshore islands, seals and bird sanctuaries. This spacious fa just got back from there today, spent 2 nights there and was also there about 5 weeks ago. Basically no booking, £5 per person per night, showers are 50p for a token which lasts 5 mins, theres a pub at the one end of the site which does good meals and there is a good atmosphere in the evening with locals and visitors alike, theres also a surf shop there that also sells bread and milk amongst other things, and across the road is a pebble banking leading onto the beach. Well worth a visit.
