Hi, this is my first post. I'd like to recommend Llyn Gwynant in the Snowdonia district of Wales. I can highly recommend this campsite if you're looking for a cheap, no-frills getaway with some stunning views, and of course plenty of mountains to climb. Also very handy (about a 10 minute drive) to Llanberis and the Mountain Railway to the summit of Snowdon, if you're not the sort to spend a day walking up... Like I said, it is a no-frills campsite (there's port-a-loos, a new shower block, and drinking water, and that's about it), but they will let you have a fire, as long as you rent one of their fire boxes and buy their wood. But their prices are so cheap you wouldn't begrudge them a few extra quid for wood. Just remember to take a small hatchet, as they only sell kindling and quartered logs, nothing in between. You can find them here. Like I said, a cracking campsite that won't break the bank with some stunning views.
Cheers.
