I have stayed at Guinnes just outside Calais on a number of occasions when we had the kids with us. Both in a tent but more often in a caravan. The wife and I are returning in 2010 to camping with a Kyham Freelander dome tent and we feel we do not require to stay at at sites with swimming pools and childrens play parks. We are looking for the quieter type of site but with good washroom facilities. As we will be driving from Northern Ireland we will not wish to drive too far into Europe and would be content with sites within about a days travel of Calais. We would like to visit Brugge area. If anyone has any recommendations regarding camp sites or areas we might like to try then would like to hear about them.
