Backpacking in Bedfordshire

Hi All,

I used to be a Cub and Scout - that was a long time ago. I loved camping out. Then I got married, and all that stopped.

But now I'm a bit older, and I'd really like to go out backpacking again. But I need to know a few things before I go out...

1. Where can I put up a tent? What are the legal restrictions, where are the best places with the best views?

Ideally I'd like to start off somewhere near Bedfordshire for a night or two to make sure my kit is ok.

2. Are there any groups I can go with?

You can try camping on Rose And Crown Pub, You can find it at Ridgemont. And there's also a bar inside this campsite.
