Default Advice and suggestions for a possible new campsite

We are new on here so if there is a more suitable section for this enquiry then moderators fell free to move it. Or get rid if it's deemed unsuitable.

Our family has been talking around the subject id opening our own campsite for a few years now. We have about twenty five acres of hillside ground in a very picturesque area. Close to a forest and near to both a scenic route road and blueflag beach and located in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We would like to try and integrate the site into the area by being as green as possible and with it being an AONB it would be very difficult initially to get planning for large shower/toilet blocks etc.
Initially we envisage several small wooden structure for toilets/utensils/showers etc. By the nature of the site it may be difficult to accomodate caravans/campers so it may be at least to begin with a tent only site.

Having been campers ourselves and stayed in many different sizes of site with different levels of ammenities we thought who better to ask about setting up a new site than campers on a forum.

    The questions are :-
What are the minimum facilities you would require in a campsite?
Would you be happy staying in a campsite with just composting toilets.
Would you pay slightly extra for wilderness style pitches isolated for more privacy?

These are just a few questions off the top of my head and would appreciate any points or suggestions campers would care to make.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this post and appreciation in advance for ant replies. I will be glad to answer any direct questions or clarify on any points made.

Good luck with this.. In answer to your questions it depends on how long I intend to stay and whether on my own or with the family.

On my own for a couple of days I can go without showers or even hot water and wash at a basin (But no more than 2 days please) and a composting toilet is no problem.

But for longer than that I need a proper shower and somewhere with hot water so I can at least rinse some clothes through.

If the wife and kids were to come along then it would have to be real toilets and hot water all round.

As for paying more for secluded pitches. I don't really know. Sometimes we like to have neighbours and others not. It's the same when I'm on my own. Sometimes I just want to be on my own.

If you are serious about opening an eco campsite you could do a lot worse than visiting and staying a night or two at both of the sites below. The aren't too far apart miles wise and cater to the two different ends of the "eco" spectrum.

Each is brilliant but quite different from the other.

I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu
