    Default Camping in London?

    Guys and girls

I was wondering if anyone knew if by any chance there were any campsites around Finsbury Park in London? This may be a daft question but I don't know the area at all so I thought I'd ask the question!

    Default london accesible camping

    hi!
there are sites at crystal palace Crystal Palace Caravan Club Site , Crystal Palace Campsites, London

debden, epping forest/essex [tube, bus & walk or cheap taxi from station]
Debden House Centre , Loughton Campsites, Essex

    enfield
Theobalds Park Camping And Caravanning Club Site , Waltham Cross Campsites, Hertfordshire

and Lea Valley, somewhere...might just be cabins/caravans, though.

    hope this helps!

from review of theobalds park....sounds ideal for you from F park!!
"easy to use the bus from Cambridge Road (about 5 minutes drive and walk from site with free parking -ask the wardens for directions)to Turnpike Lane tube station and then get on the tube into central London."

an alternative that might work for you is Making camping eventful - Campinmygarden.com

the law allows people to camp on priovate land for 28 days a year with permission, Victoria who runs the site is focussing on the Olympic rush for London accomodation but its an intruiging idea for camping locations

You could also try CampLondon2012 They are quite close to Finsbury Park, but to be honest, I'm not sure whether they are open throughout the year or just for the Olympics.

Of all the sites that I've been to in London my ultimate favorite is The elms caravan and camping site because its a very friendly family camp park. the area is really peaceful and you can do lots of activities here so you and your family can really have a quality bonding time through out your camping trip.
