Picked this site as they were able to squeeze us in over the bank holiday weekend and also guarantee we could pitch together.

What makes this site is the wardens, from the first phone call to the end of our stay the wardens (Jeni and her husband) go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

We were pitched on the "overflow" field, and by the tuesday we were practically the only ones on it. This was great as the kids could run arround, rides bikes etc and no noisey neigbours!

It is a slighly longer walk to the main shower block (portaloo's only on our field), however, with bikes and also a radio flyer for carrying the washing up/ kids this was fine.
The main shower block is modern and kept very clean and even though the main field was relatively full there were no ques for a shower or toilet.

Its about 300 yards to the main estate office where there is a smal shop and laundrette, which were perfectly adequate.
and best of all its only 500yrds to the beach. The beach is accessed by climbing over the sand dunes, but its a lovely sandy beach.

There are campsites that offer more facilities but these are twice the price, so all in all very good value for money

    Tents pitched in overflow field:
