    Default Mobile camping bog.

Not really for carrying on the m'bike, but the little portable lightweight baggie numbers look ideal for camping/festival use, BUT has anyone here actually used one or sussed one out?

There are two models* AFAICS, the BioToi which is a lightwight frame unit, and the Gelert, which is a model that looks like a conventional camping bog but with bags that convert wee to a gel. These look very useful if you have a car BUT how many visits can you make?? The bags are not that cheap.

There is of course the bucket in the corner... or one of these https://www.traveloutdoorsleeds.co.u...rtable-toilet/

Fortunately I've always managed to hang on to the big jobs untill I reach a pub / supermarket or public loo but were I to be caught short a trip into the woods with some sort of digging implement would be my first choice.

I can't see me carrying a bag of poo around with me.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

a lot of the aid agencies/military are now sending out the gel bag packs to combat hygiene problems post disasters, they apparently use a budget venison of the Restop2/BriefReleif kits.

you can buy them in the uk: brief-relief/

in bad old days of running service crews in motorsport events that site hopped as the rally was on finding a loo could be a problem (that is when you could get time to stray from the service area anyway) so a a lot of crews used to use the bin bag in a box idea. I remember being told a story of how one crew van got broken into and the thief stole what he though was a very expensive PIAA headlight in its box!.... lets just say when he opened that box up boy must he of have a surprise

I can understand that, but if you were ay a festival and had the option of a 1hr queue for the worst bogs in the world, maybe carrying a bag to the bin is not that bad. AIUI, they use a powder that turns into a gel so that the contents are fairly "stable"...

Some poetic justice there I feel My mate who works for the local leccy boys said thy have gel bag loos for when they are out on emergency work. I asked him for a cuppla bags to have in the tent for camping when that struggle out of the tent when it is peeing down is just too much... And of course, it is even worse for the fair sex!

    > brief-relief/ No prices on the site though.

yep think they only supply bulk to the big users... I did once see them in a truckstop and they were about £7 for a 2 weebags and 1 dump bag kit, so not exactly spending a penny!

Gel-Tec in the UK do the 'traveljohn' weebag kit (3 unit) for around £7 and a dumpbag kit (3 units) for £8... 0845 257 2866

I know that after a few beers I can manage over a Litre in one go which would make a 800ml bag useless and there's no way i'm stopping mid flow!

I am going to experiment with a 6ft lenght of hose pipe and a funnel, will post back the results :-)

Could I suggest you avoid "posting" the results..... Maybe an adjacent hedge?
