    Default Camping gear ranges

I am looking to put together a list of companies that produce a range of camping gear that includes:

tents - 2 man, high quality and robust.
cookers and cookware - multi-fuel stoves and quality nesting cook sets
sleeping bags - minimum 3 season, minimal weight and pack size
sleeping mats - minimal weight and pack size
hydration packs - 2lts and up

At the minute Coleman has been our sole suppliers but I'm getting p~ssed off with the crap back up and just total disregard of the UK/European market by coleman USA... for example i am STILL waiting for tents ordered and paid for back in April (Coleman UK though have done their best to keep me happy until the stock turns up).

I've also had it confirmed from a few places that they are going to drop a lot of the more technical type products from the ranges in favor of the the family camping arena witch is no use me.

The only company so far that comes to mind is Gelert, but much like coleman most of what they sell is more domestic family orientated than expedition or adventure. On the flip side its a UK based company and its not a multinational that so big it doesn't give a stuff about its customers!

so anybody think of anyone else???

How about exped. I've got one of their tents and it's a class bit of kit.

looks like really nice stuff but doubt i could justify (or pass on the cost), looking through the blurb an andromeda tent is £350 is thats well over 100% over coleman retail (and we pay way below retail!).

    which tent do you have?

I've got an Exped Vela II extreme . Quick to put up, storage space and you could sleep two people in it. The only drawback for me is the lack of height.
