Hi folks, I'm a newbie to this site but not to camping, at the mo we have got a 2007 Outwell Bear Lake 6 as our main family tent, I also have a cheapy halfords 2 man tent and a cheapy 1 man tent from argos as well as those I have a VW T4 Transporter campervan, so plenty of options as to what we sleep in.

So far this year we have been away for a few weekends and have a few more lined up including a few VW shows.

My name is Paul and I live with my wife Jayne and our 4 girls, 2 of which are in their later teens and 2 under 10 y o. We live in S. Wales.

There is nothing wrong with cheap tents.
I have a couple, one is a four person tent and one is a three person tent.
The only thing I find is the way they size them.
A three or four person tent is Ideal for me as a single person camping with a motorbike as there is some where to put the kit.
I think most tents are designed thinking that the kit is left outside in the elements.

Hi novo - welcome

I'm new here myself (but gain, not to camping)

We are off to Wales on Monday for a week - Ceridigion area and are looking forward to lots of the yellow stuff (sunshine - sush, don't let everyone know that's where it will be hiding next week)

I have '2 families' too - 2 boys grown and gone and 2 about to be teenage girls. Hard work!!
