    Default Winter is almost here

So assuming only a few of us actually camp all year round what does everyone else do over the winter months to get their outdoor kicks?
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

Ride to Jellies, have a slap up meal... maybe a steak or a cooked brekkie, swill plenty tea, laugh and point at the tents in the oppossite field then ride home for a hot shower and a take-away then to my nice warm scratcher

I still camp. I've been discussing with another Tipi owner spending new years eve camping. Just feels like something really great to do and different.

Bike rally in November and another two in January. I will of course adapt my camping habits to winter and wear a vest.

That was back in the 1980s (and I had a cracking hangover when that picture was taken).

Here's one February from last year:

It was February and the campsite was pretty full. Mind you, we were asked to keep our bikes off the grass as it was so soggy.
