    Default sleeping bags

Hi, Can any one recommend me a sleeping bag liner?

I have just bought A vango viper 1000 sleeping bag

and in all my years of camping, I ain't never had

such a good quality bit of kit. Its always been

    cheap gear stuffed (strapped,bungeed,roped)

To the bike. So it's time for proper kit, Me not

getting any younger E.T.C. And the Dragon

Rally is getting closer an closer.

    Cheers, Ratski.

No recommendation from me but have you tried using a liner before. I end up getting all tangled up as I tend to turn a lot. I had a cheap one from GoOutdoors (or similar). Maybe a silk one would be better.

Looks like a great bag you have there.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

I got a silk liner via ebay for 1p plus £9.99 for P&P - it came from vietnam. Its lovely - a big red square rectangle of luxurious silk that packs down to not much bigger than a packet of cigarettes. It has a pocket for a pillow and is plenty wide and long enough for lardy me. I have only used it a few times and it does make a significant difference to the warmth of the bag. I really don't like being constricted in a bag so my main bag has a Snupack expander panel zipped in - which makes it huge, but cool, which is when the slik liner comes in handy, but I do keeps my arms out the liner for that free-er feeling. Silk liner - recommended, just make sure it big enough

For the Dragon I usually take two thinish sleeping bags rather than one bulky one,it seems to work.As for bag liners they always seem to end up in a knot at the bottom of the sleeping bag but that's just me.Perhaps see you in February
