We've been finding and cutting some wood to fill the wood burner in the Tipi. There was a tree that was local to us that was taken down and we've had a load of wood from it. It's all nicely drying now.
We've spotted that by the side of the River Severn there's a huge amount of wood that gets washed down and deposited on the bank. We're going to go and get some of this as well I think to increase stocks.
It's actually got to the point now that I would love to have a wood burner in the house, but I'm not sure we can do that easily as we don't have a chimney.
We also continue to go Geocaching most weekends. We've both really fallen for this hobby and have been travelling all over the place looking for hidden tupperware boxes.

And we've just come back from a week in Center Parcs at Longleat. I need a rest now after all that exercise!!!

If your woodburner is against an outside wall you can run the flue through the wall and up. I have been in houses that have woodburners with the flue going up through the ceiling but that entails specialist work to make sure nothing gets too hot.

    hi dave

woodburner / multifuel , i can highly recommended the stovax cb3 , not cheap but fantastic stove ..
we have no central heating in the cottage and use the stove all year round.

as for retro fitting one without a chimey , a good installer should be able to fit no problem, but there is quite a bit of building regulations they have to follow..

We have been busy with our businesses and getting ready for our new puppy. After nearly a year of waiting we finally him..
It was quite emotional as I lost my GSD last march at only 10 years old.

But the new Puppy has been recking the house.

    Happy Days..
