We enjoy it as a family as it gets us out and about to places we wouldn't normally visit. We've had some great walks as a result.
We haven't created any of our own yet though.

I did it with the kids a couple of years ago. Now they've grown up a bit they're not too bothered. The other trouble I had was some caches were so badly (or should that be well?) hidden you needed a machete or spade to find them. For me the fun was getting to the correct area and not spending hours grubbing around for the actual cache.

I still have my old Garmin GPS 12 so may well have another go once the weather and lighter nights pick up.

Can anyone remind me the name of the UK website that tracked your progress and mapped out the caches?
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

I have to say the iPhone app has really made it simple for us. No messing with coordinates... it just all works a treat.
