I really have to say that I don't think I fancy that at all! I live on a boat pretty much full time and our log burner is lit all winter, and even that struggles sometimes.
The advice about multiple clothing layers you've already received is spot on. I would just add that ladies tights make a good base under leggings and trousers. One of the biggest problems though is staying dry in the snow. I'd suggest a decent set of waterproofs and good waxed boots. An Alpine sleeping bag with an insulating layer underneath should help at night, as would a bit of company! Hope you have a good time.
