hello everyone, wonder if anyone has traveled LD to Boulogne on their evening ferry? when we go to Calais we stop in amongst all the caravans and camper vans and have for years, but wonder whether there is anywhere at Boulogne to do the same? appreciate any thoughts, regards JD

"by stop in amongst" i assume you mean to pitch and have a kip?
if your talking about the fast cat service they took over from speedferries, i dont think theres anywhere at the terminal its right in the docks in the centre of town, its just a huge expanse of concrete and very noisy.
but boulogne is small, you could easily find somewhere on the outskirts

hello, thanks for reply; because our Raclet needs no pegging out we camp overnight at Calais in amongst the campervans & caravans-works well, armed Police patrol at night. thanks JD

well theres loads of room on the hardstanding once your through passport, its a pretty big terminal for a small boat. they only let you in the terminal about an hr before sailing though? assuming its on time, they delayed us for 3 hrs once with engine trouble and once your in the terminal they wont let you out again.
