    Default Hello

Just thought i would say Hello,i`m from Middlesbrough, North East England, i`ve been camping for years now, mostly in Cumbria near Coniston village, most class it as wild camping due to the lack of facilities, only a stream for water, no loo`s,etc. but it`s how we like it, open fire, cooking on the fire,(anything from big pans of stew to roasting a pig or beef joint in a stone oven).
Families seem to love it, children never want to leave.
Do group camping trips get organised? is there a forum for organising camping weekends?

    Peter.

    Peter.
    Welcome to the site.
We don't yet organise any camping trips specifically through this site and that's probably because this site is a spin off from a large motorcycling web site where there are loads of trips organised.

It would be great to start to organise a few trips here, even if it's to say what we're all up to and if we're prepared to have a few tag along.
We're tending to camp fairly locally at the moment within a couple of hours drive.
Need to get some nice trips planned though. We tend to leave it all to the last minute at the moment.
