do you have any wild camping books recomendations please !

hi all
just registered ,
i was wondering if anyone has any wild camping books they can recomend that covers the
lake district ?.

im planning a soulo trip of about 10 days or maybe more ,ive never done the backpacking thing before or explored the lakes day walking to any great extent for that matter ,
its took me a while to buy all my gear for the trip, tent.bag,clothes etc . of witch i am fully equipped (i think) at 13 kilos without food,
my plan (or lack of it) was to start at one end and work my way over as many peaks as i could in 10 days ,avoiding so called civilization at all costs,
then i thought id better do some reading about, and ,listening to, the people who know the area , hence this thread.

i like the idea of doing my own exploring and would like to know of anybody else's experiences on longer trips good or bad ?

also as well as the threads topical question ,is there anything else you would recomend for further reading or consideration ?

I don't have any books to give you but try to search it over the net. They are sites out there selling books that you're looking for.
