    Default Luxury camping.

Oh, firstly I'm new, so hey everyone.
Secondlyyy what little luxuries do you all take? I was thinking of bunting for my tent and such? Little lightweight things to help make camping a little more enjoyable for the less...well, kind of people who don't enjoy roughing it so much!

This all depends on what you consider as the "essentials", but my luxury that makes an enormous difference to my camping is a folding chair. And more recently a camp bed.

Ohhhh errr ummmm what a good question....
so if you're saying lightweight then the wood burning stove is out i guess..
My wife wants one of those swirly things that goes on a pole and twirls in the wind. I've resisted so far.
We do have solar powered lights to show the guy lines at night, these work really well.

I always take my solar power mobile phone charger. I know it's sad, but I can't do without it...

Erm, I'm new(ish) here too, so Hi, now my reply.....

I actually take a full bottle of fabric conditioner. I sometimes hand wash my clothes when camping, & I like to put a little fabric conditioner in the final rinse.

I am male, just in case you were wondering, I just happen to like my clothes smelling clean & fresh. (the Waitrose essential one has time release fragrance micro capsules

I´m a newbie as well.....with that in mind I am not going anywhere without: A) french press coffee maker, b) good pots and pans to make some nice food and 3) a north face jacket! If I´m going to rough it, I will be roughing it nicely!

Actually me and my wife are such city people with out home comforts that we are going to camp for a few days and stop at a hotel just outside glasgow to finish the four day trip her idea not mine - I am not complaining though!
