I'm starting what I hope will be a year of wild camping around the UK, and after a couple of decades going mushy in civilisation I reckon I'll need sites like this one to help me survive.

My kit is intended to be as light as possible. I expect to make a few blunders on the way, and I hope I can get some advice to help me.

You won't find me at official campsite's; I like the freedom of solitary living.

I also leave any site I use as I found it or better. My least favourite people are day trippers who think their plastic litter will decompose in their lifetimes. We visit nature for its beauty...showing respect and leaving it that way is essential.

Hope to learn some stuff and maybe share a few things.
