Well we're back. Brilliant night last night.
We were lovely and warm with the stove again last night, and as the wind had settled we had a great nights sleep.

One thing I haven't recounted so far is that in Friday we were joined a little way down by another Tentipi Safir 9 CP!! What are the chances.
We thought we would be the only Tipi in the village.
We got chatting and it turns out that David was the person that had written the article in Camping magazine about the Safir 7 that had got us interested.

So what did we learn this time, well that Tentipi's stand up to some reasonable windy weather, that the Eldfell stove works brilliantly, and that we can camp without electric!

I was also impressed with the Coleman Dual Fuel Premium 2 mantle Lantern. It was an excellent match for the Tipi providing us with very bright light all evening.

David showed us a bracket / clip that fits to the Tentipi central pole and allows the lantern to be hung or coats to be hung up. I will be ordering a couple.

And lastly the site was a cracker, is open all year round, had fantastic facilities and has a great location. I'll do a review separately.
Tentipi Safir 9 CP - Keeping us warm in the night.

Three or four of the main pegs bent on my tipi in the (40mph) gusts which is a bit of a disappointment as I had hoped for better pegs on a £1000 tent. My 75p rock pegs driven down the v of the tentipi ones kept things together though. I was lucky to have them to hand. I'm still looking for a better solution as there must be decent pegs out there that are both wide and strong.

Tell me more. I have made a hook for hanging up my coat that clips onto the main pole but still trying to figure the best way to hang the Tilley lantern.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

On the pegs, yes I had one pull out and a few loosen. I think I will try the Delta one's next time.

To the hanger I'll do a separate post on it as I couldn't find it when searching the Internet before so warrants a bit more profile, but...

    Here it is...

Lantern Hanger from Taunton Leisure Ltd
    £9.78 from Taunton Leisure.
Having seen them in action they are very robust, well made and fit very well.
