Lafuma Chairs

Ok got to ask, Lafuma chairs seem to be the Rolls Royce of chairs.
Are they that good?

They seem comfy enough when sitting in them but are they any better than something half of the price?

Great chairs, last a lifetime, but are they worth the extra money ?? There are more or less identical chairs now being made by the likes of Hi Gear for a lot less money and having sat in both the other day in Go Outdoors I couldn't say they felt any different and the quality seemed to be about the same.

Saying that though only time will tell, we recently returned 2 Outwell Deluxe recliners, the ones with the additional zip on foot rest. They both snapped at the same plastic knuckle joint on the front leg when the foot rest was up and on their first weekends use. Now these chairs where £50 each so not cheep for a compact folding chair but on taking them back to Cotswold Outdoors it seems they have a problem with these chairs as quite a few have been returned apparently so be warned anyone who likes the look of them.

Old thread but right question, are Lafuma chairs so much better than others?
