PRO ACTION COCOON 300 DOWN SLEEPING BAG
at that price it seems a bargain and the few reviews I've found suggest it's good value for a 2 season down bag.
any thoughts?
Ian

Good price keep us informed
Looks like a good inexpensive 2-3 season bag. Ive got a Eurohike Down 500 sleeping bag which is 500gm fill and it's probably best described as 3 season despite what it says on the bag. The night I spent in it when it was minus 1.5 I was warm enough with the exception of my hip which was freezing. This could well have been down to sleeping on an airbed as opposed to the thermarest. I tend to sleep au natural so with some jammies on or the thremarest things could well have been a bit warmer.
If yours is as I suspect 300 gram fill it will certainly be warm enough for summer and autumn camping and should pack down really well for transport on the bike.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu
I expect nothing less than a full review when it arrives. Get that new tent of yours pitched in the garden and try it out.

Ian I've got to be honest one thing I never scimp on is sleeping bags, I paid £300 for my last Rab extreme bag and have been extremely grateful that I have many times over the past few years.
I know MoM bought a cheepy one and not sure how that's faired but if I am not comfortable sleeping I'm grumpy all day, it's not something to look for a cheaper option in, I want guaranteed quality.
But then bear in mind I have slept in mine on the side of wet or snowy mountains with no tent, so I need to know it's going to work
I know where you're coming from Sharrie,
trouble is as a born again camper I can't justify spending a fortune on kit if I'm not going to use it, so we'll see how this goes this summer and it's a price I can afford to throw away next year if I can then justify better kit.
stupid thing is I've got some decent sleeping bags already in the motorhome but they are way too big to carry on the bike.
I bought a downtech four seasons bag from Greenleaf Outdoors for £75. It good never been cold in it but found out the hard way like all down bags it doesn't like it in the wet!
About 15 years ago I bought a mountain equipement hollowfill bag and it's still brilliant. Wasn't cheap though.
