I'd also be happy to review your product and post an independent review if that would help you.

    Default Carpets

    Hi Dave,

That would be great if your happy to do that. If you want to measure one of your tents up and include any hook points etc then I will happily make a carpet for you that you can try out pop a review up and then keep as way of a thank you.

In the mean time I will post a thread to start the ball rolling prior to the Camping Mag review but just watch this space ... once people get to know the price they fall over normally as they do not appreciate the differences and the quality compared to the run of the mill carpets.

    Hi Gary,

These Royce carpets interest me but i would want something small to pack on the bike. My tent is quite big so would it make a big difference between having a carpet that fits the entire bedroom compartment to having one that fits just under my airbed?

I was thinking that i could buy a one to measure that was say 6" wider than my airbed allround, would this make a difference? I can't sleep on mats i roll off and find myself on the floor so there a waste of time and i like the space and comfiness (is that a word? lol) that a double airbed provides.

If i could measure my bed then give you the required measurements for the carpet could you give me a price?

    Thanks,

    Craig.

    Default Carpet

    Hi Craig,

Yes that would work fine, it would protect the bed which is the main factor. If you can measure your bed and send me a pm with the dimensions I can then work out a price and get back to you. Just as a guide a carpet for a Vango Force Ten 3 birth tent, which is about the same size as a double air bed, rolls up to about the size of a sleeping bag.

    Regards

I'm looking for something that packs down well (for bike use) and being the canny Scot that I am, something that won't give the wallet too much of a fright. A genuine 3 season would probably suffice as I can't imagine be being away in the winter but I'm open to advice.

    Any recommendations?
    Hi,
I use a 2 season rectangular bag but also have a couple of these that I use if the weather gets really cold:

    Default Longer sleeping bag!

Ok have sourced a 3 man tent so I have some room as I will be camping Lkne (sad)
at 6ft4in I have been looking at bags but most are for a max of 1.9m so not really much room. I take it that with the mummy style I would need it longer? A rectangular perhaps could get away with the 1.9?

J also take on board the big difference in price which relates to warmth, quality and fill material.
As I need it to fit on the bike andwill not be using it before march or after April in the uk assume a 3 season, hooded mummy extra long with a airbed would be the order of the day?

I'm 6'4" and about 15ish stone. I use a Nanok bag, big enough and works down to 0 degrees. Fits on the bike well.
