Re-fill gas lpg

Can anybody suggest any where that refills lpg camping clyinders?
The problem is, last year I spent some time in NZ last, bought lots of camping gear, including a 3.3kg gas bottle for my stove and portable bbq. Every petrol station over there had lpg and would fill the bottle!
Anyway since being back here, I cannot find anywhere to get it refilled! My local lpg for cars said if I bought the bayonet connection to attach to my bottle he could fill it. The problem is the tap/valve on the bottle is a 15mm left hand thread, all the Uk connections are normal thread. I could get a UK bottle, but I would then have to buy all different connections for my gear, the stove is 15mm thread and the bbq 22 mm left hand thread!
The cost just keeps rising!

Can you not get a gas fitter to make up a conversion piece that would allow you to use UK bottles with your NZ gear? Shouldn't be too difficult to achieve I would thought.
