Air matresses that withstand a dog

Hello!

I am looking for a new double air mattress to make my camping trips a bit more comfortable. The only thing is that normally my cocker spaniel (fred) sleeps next to me - he is a fab water bottle on cold nights

I am worried he may pop it when he is on my mattress. Does any one have a tried and tested air mattress that has with stood their dog? Any recommendations would be welcome!

The out and out strongest that I've come across are the thick, heavy duty red-one-side-blue-on-the-other. If you inflate them to the correct level (not too hard, not too soft) then they can be very comfortable. The double is available at Argos.

Take a look on the website Only Airbeds, we just purchased the 2 in 1 from them. Although the first one had a puncture (manufacturing fault) They had a replacment to me the very next day. Great customer service.
