"Moon" chairs are very comfortable but are very bulky when folded. I have used camping chairs costing £20 or so and they were okay for me but I have just gone a little more expensive and bought one that costs £36 from Go Outdoors - but in-store they were two for £50. It has a higher back and was more comfortable and at this week's camp everyone tried to get in it before me!!

Example of a "Moon" chair: Hi Gear Orlando Camping Chair | GO Outdoors
My new chair: Hi Gear Nebraska Camping Chair (Olive) | GO Outdoors

depends how you are getting where you are camping? if using a car then size/weight unimportant, the sky's the limit. if motorbiking like me you can still bring quite a bulky cheapo folding armchair, or there are a few classy options that pack smaller and lighter, like kermit, butterfly, pico but they are expensive. but if your cycling or shanks pony then you could take one of those really uncomfortable tripods but i would rather find a big rock where i was camping or find a decent site with picnic tables

I've found the collapsible club chair very comfortable. Instead of a straight, stiff back, the club chair is cocoon shaped and padded so it's very comfortable and warm. Minuses: not cheap and bulky when folded.
