    Default Smallest Sleeping Bags ?

    Hi

Can anybody offer a few words of advice ?

I'm having to scale down our camping equipment to fit into a 2 seater - foldable water carrier & washing-up bowl, LED lighting, you know the sort of thing ! But still we struggle to get everything in for a 2 week touring holiday. I have suggested that SWMBO reduces the number of sweaters, etc., but that was met with a frosty response. One area that I'm now looking at is the sleeping bags. I bought ours a few years ago, but the new lightweight ones seem to compress down a lot more. Mine packs down to about 400mm x 220mm dia. Can anybody suggest a suitable 2/3 season bag that packs smaller ? Weight is not a problem - just size. Funny - SWMBO made a comment about that as well ...

show her the luggage space she would have on my motorbike, that would keep her quiet for five seconds. a car would be luxury!
the smallest packing sleeping bags ive ever seen are made by snugpak, (and theyre british, huzzah!) they do one that goes to the size of a coconut, and im not joking. obviously thats a thin summer bag, and probably ultra mummy shaped, as you go warmer rating or wider fitting they get bigger but still worth a look. they also do alterations to order, the website explains a lot give them a look

Down bags pack much smaller than the equivalent synthetic bag and as a bonus they tend to have a wider comfort range. I really rate my Eurohike Down 500 sleeping bag and it packs up pretty small for a four season bag.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu
