Attached is a scan of the blurb that came with my Safir 9 but it seems to cover most Tentipi models.
There also some videos here on youtube
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

Tentipi Safir 9 CP - Keeping us warm in the night.
Khyam Biker - Keeping me dry for the last few years.
i just watched the first video, it packs enormous, seems a bit of a faff to put up and must be a bit heavy with that rock?
BTW im only joking about the rock
It's actually pretty small considering it's a 9 man poly cotton tent. Pack size wise its 70x27 cm and comparing that to the Khyam biker at 60x20 it's not that much bigger. It's a good bit smaller than my 7 man tunnel tent.
Weighs a good bit more but it is a much heavier material.

yeah just watched it again, it is a bit fatter but not by much than the biker so i guess volume wise theres nothing in it.
BUT- why are they so expensive? and why polycotton instead of lightweight nylon? is it something to do with breathableness or arctic norwegian winter camping? is that why they are so big, so you can get the sled and dogs in there with you?
Expensive? No idea. But they are extremely well made should (and better) last me a lifetime. You're correct about the poly cotton breathing better as I get no condensation whatsoever. I wish I could afford a smaller one as well as the 9 man is a but ostentatious on my own![]()
