On the subject of pitching tents, I found these amusing films. The first is a stop animation film from BBC film maker Tim Allen which shows a group of people putting up a yurt. The second has a groovy soundtrack of a girl on rollerblades putting up a bell tent.
Not very technical I know but worth a look.
