Default Karsten Inflating Times and Weight

Camping next to a petrol station with a compressor could have it's advantages - up in 30 seconds. Unfortunately not even enough time to get the kettle out let alone boil!

Most Karsten Tent owners either use a 12v car compressor which takes approx 10 mins or a car foot pump which takes approx 12 mins ( depending on your fitness), to fully erect the tent.

With reference to the weight, the average weight for the main tent is 31kg and with optional zip-on awnings weighs no more than 45kg, which equals an Outwell Bear Lake 4 which tends to be advertised with tent and pole weights seperately.
