This is a useful video for people who use a Tarp rather than Gazebo for out door living space - and once you haver had a Tarp I doubt you would go back. Only a couple of configurations (there loads) but useful and funky music too

wonder how many people on here use a Tarp over a Gazebo or similar ?

down side with Tarps are no side protection (even wind breaks arent ideal), getting hold of them and learning to use them

advantages, amazingly adaptable - hot weather you can pitch to catch a breeze, cold weather you can pitch it to deflect it away. We use a 3.7m square Canvas one with a pair of 2.35m poles and 2.1m poles, you can play origami with it all day long - favourite set up is long poles in the middle of two opposite edges and shorter poles in middle of other two edges, it creates a huge living area for the kids and is perfect in hot weather as the Cotton Canvas stops any risk of sunburn. Only is really severe weather have we pulled ours down, way safer than a Gazebo in that respect

Got a hankering for a Green Outdoors Canvas Holly Leaf one but we really dont need it
