Hi everyone I'm selling my Road Angel Navigator as I'm going to go for a new Zumo I've decided.

Road Angel Navigator 7000.
The unit is waterproof.
It comes with a speed camera subscription from Road Angel until 05/11/09.
There are two car mounts, one windscreen sucker and one air vent mount.
Two cigarette lighter power supplies.
One bicycle mount that I use on the motorbike. Although I think I was going to try to find a RAM mount as it would give more flexibility. This shouldn't be a problem to find.
One leather case for when walking or just to keep it looking nice.
A major selling point of this is that it comes with the FULL Memory Map Software including Ordnance Survey 50,000:1 maps of the whole of the UK exc NI. That on it's own is worth a fortune! You can create your own routes and upload them to the RA to follow. I also used it when walking and it works brilliantly.

It will also work as an MP3 player and picture viewer.

It uses SD cards which are cheap and readily available.

The unit has a battery life of some 7 hours as reported on the website, but I've only ever managed to test it for around 4 hours which lasted with no issues.

A key feature of the Road Angel stuff is road safety, and RA have designed a standing screen that you can use all of the time which alerts you to speed cameras and / or accident blackspots, but crucially colours the screen according to the speed you are doing. So if you're over the speed camera limit it colours the screen red. I found this a great help and started to use it whenever and wherever I was travelling.
The speed camera data RA provide has been rated as the best or most accurate data available. The process to update is very simple either via a PC or mobile phone (with data connection on the fly).

Lastly you buy insurance on-line from RA that insures your device in case of it breaking, getting lost or stolen for £4 per month. So this gives you peace of mind that if something breaks you'll be covered.

When new this cost in excess of £530!!!!
It's offered for sale here at £170 for everything.
If you're comparing prices elsewhere make sure that the price includes the memory map software, those that know will understand how expensive this software is.
