Wanted: tentipi or other single pole tipi

Yes indeed. The Indian Lake whilst nice doesn't allow a full stove, and still takes a while longer to put up over a Tentipi.

I didn't intend to carry it on the GS, but Boris reckons I can squeeze it on.
As for the AT I think GS is a better pack horse than the AT.

Granted that he has Jesses on his 1150GS, but Mr Fisherman on ADVRider carries a 4-man Kifaru tipi, liner, pole, kermit chair and lantern in a dry bag on the pillion seat, and his medium stove goes in a pannier.

This is the Tipi I used on the GS I had. Single skin but any condensation just runs down the side so you dont get wet. Not much bigger than my Vango beta3 when packed.



I had dislocated my neck I found out which explains why it was so painful that weekend to bend down trying to put the Tipi up!

It was cetainly that.... 3 days in agony and then I knocked my head on the wall by accident and after a big crack back it went ...fixed and no more pain ...no idea how I did it but never had any problems since.
