Smile Got a Dog? Get A Houndbag!

Custom-made to transport all the doggy essentials compactly, a houndbag is ideal for camping trips.
It has a poop bag-dispenser and a lined, sealable pocket to store the used bags for responsible disposal when that's convenient. The houndbag has a water-bottle holder, a treats pocket, an elastic holder for the dog's ball and, ingeniously, a detachable strap which can double as a lead if needed.
With extra pockets for owner's items like keys, cash, mobile phone and notebook, the houndbag is a really useful piece of traveller's kit.
Houndbags have been on sale in Australia for some time & now, you can buy yours direct from www.houndbags.com based in Oxon.
Houndbags are a really good idea for Christmas gifts, too.

We got something like this free with a very large back of doggy food many years ago.. Totally useless as everything is for a small-medium doggy and not two 40KG doggies

In the end though we just have all the bits in a small triangular rucksack..

Do you have pictures of what you're advertising

    Hi Kymmy,
Ohmygoodness! What big dogs you have!! Do they have a breed? Or saddles??
Anyway, there are pictures of the houndbag on the website - www.houndbags.com

I doubt very much that it was a houndbag which was given away with your necessarily enormous bag of dog food. Houndbags have only been available in Europe for about three months now.

Octavia Chabrier, an Australian, designed the houndbag to suit her own needs. She has a couple of Golden Labradors...or are they Golden Retrievers...Anyway, she designed the houndbag becaue she figured that if it was useful to her, it would be useful to others. Check the website for more details.

*chortle* Where's the blushing emoticon when I need it? Thanks for that, Yen Powell. My typo, duly corrected. Go back (not from your quote but above) and have another go?

Ha. I thought this was one of these bags that ladies who lunch transport their little Trixie-woos in in order to save the poor little dears legs from wearing out.

This led to this somewhat surreal image of Kymmy and Jen lugging around a couple of huge GSDs in oversized handbags.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

My Wifes dog has his own saddle bags ..

But I quite like the idea...

But we find using *Tams* backpack, he can carry all his things, water , ball, poo bags, my wallet LOL .. car keys ..

And most importantly , Tam likes his backpack, and he feels like he is doing a job.. you can see him strut about *doing His Job*

LOL .. he is a funny puppy

For Quality backpacks (we tried a few different companies) .. http://www.ruffwear.com/

    Tam is sporting a Ruffwear Palisades Pack***8482;

and with a dog that size I wouldn't try and take it off him. He's even bigger than your bike.
