    Default Camp Site Database

Right I've decided that I'm going to build a comprehensive camp site database.
I've just for the first time written a module which integrates with this forum software so now I know I can get that working then I can proceed with the actual build..... so.....

Lets have a wish list of what you'd like to see, what you think are the important features, etc...
Tentipi Safir 9 CP - Keeping us warm in the night.

Khyam Biker - Keeping me dry for the last few years.

Outwell Norfolk Lake - Keeping the family in luxury for the last couple of years.

    So...

    Important
    Kid friendly.
    Cleaning facilities.
    BBQ friendly.
    Car and Bike friendly.
    Secure.

    Wish list.
Teenager friendly pubs and cafe's / coffee shops.
Cheap campsite prices (had to be in here in our "more for less" world)
Some luxury and comfort for the kind womenfolk.
Free power hook up and wireless internet access for the computer obsessed teenagers.
Large, well lit and ventilated workshop with all the resourses to strip down and reassemble as new the @. Very wish.
Star trek films running on demand..
    Gaurenteed fine weather...
Someone to feed the cats while we are away.....

I am not going to ask what...."I've just for the first time written a module which integrates with this forum software so now I know I can get that working then I can proceed with the actual build"...

    Carry on the good work.
    Regards.

    Si...

    Thanks.
That's me just saying overcome one of the major hurdles to making this seamlessly work with the forum software. So it will look totally integrated, used forum log-in's, etc...

As to the features, what would you like to search on? Think about if you were looking for a campsite what would be essential for you to know?

What kicked this off for me was doing a search and not being able to find a simple list in a given area of top recommended sites. Reviews are fine but you have to plough through them.

Campsite size (we prefer smaller sites)
    Midge population

    Wish list for results

    Hi Dave,

Think the other guys have covered what we would want to know. The only additions we would like to see would be pictures on the reviews, as they tell more than words, and a location map showing the sites proximity to main roads etc for the noise aspect. Oh and the one that gets my goat more than any ... level pitches !!! what is a level pitch, to me its just that, FLAT, not a slight slope or a field that rolls like an incoming tide, a flat level pitch for larger tents is a must. Smaller units are fine and this should be made clear.
