    Question Pegs?

What do you all use? The standard ****ty aluminium pegs on most of the tents are a joke. So I just bought a number of long nails for wood, added a couple of washers to each nail, one smaller to set a larger base for a larger washer which will help to retain better the guylines and also to ease the removal, using a pliers.

    Problem solved, easy and cheap

When away on the bike and space in an issue I use square section alloy pegs that both pack well and seem to penetrate well. If you do bend one they are easier to straighten as they don't keep rolling around.

When using the car and the big tent I use Delta Pegs (see Delta Pegs ) for the main guys and I take along some rock pegs, which are just like 10 inch nails with a plastic hook on the end, should I need them. So far I have never used them as the deltas work just fine.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

So far no problems using the standard one's.
The odd one does bend but no problem to straighten it.

My current favourites are the yellow plastic type. They don't bend or break (I hammer them in with a rubber peg mallet), stay in a treat and clean up more easily than others I've used.
