Default Canopy for Thor 12 tunnel? tent

Hi, am new to the forum and wondered if anyone here could help. We have a tent called a 'Thor 12 person tent' we got if from camping equipment company, anyway think it may be termed a 'tunnel tent' (but not sure) - want a canopy for the front of it and can't find anything at all anywhere! Does anyone know what will fit please? The tent dimensions are (length, width, height): (700x405x225cm).

The only thing seen so far was a free standing dining canopy which isn't what I'm after really as want something with sides on so can sit in it if bad weather and also when kids are asleep.

Thanks very much for any help you can offer, it's appreciated.

Hi I've split this post out from the other thread to make it clearer.

    So you've got this tent?

Do you want something that fits over the entrance to the tent or freestanding?

    Hi Dave,

Yes that's the exact tent. The bedrooms are on the sides so it has only a front and back door. There wouldn't be any problem finding something for the length of the door as it's on the long side there is 700cm to play with, but the problem seems to be in the height, this tent is 225cm and most canopies seem to be less than this.

We really wanted something to use as an extra room almost, so definately something with sides.

Thanks very much for the reply,

    Jayne

I'm still not exactly sure where you're putting it... over the side door or over the front door?

Trouble is I can only see the side door in the photo.

    Outwell do a universal canopy.
Is this any good to do you want it bigger than this?
Although the height is slightly less you would think that the it would be fine with the way that the roof bit is loose and fits over.

Ok I now understand there are two what I would call as side doors that you are using as front and back doors as the bedrooms are on either side.
    Get it now!

And really from what you're saying you want something bigger, as you say almost as an extra room.

I don't think a canopy is going to do what you want as they are built as small extension, however I think I've seen the sort of thing you're after... just need to find some pics.
