    Hi

    Welcome to the forum..

Well looking at your tent , I would say that it is not that big at all..

maybe for specialist campsites with very small pitches , but I think you should be fine at most campsites..

    7.20m x 2.40m
that's not a big footprint tent really.

Our Sun Valley 8 is 7.8m x 4m footprint and we have not had a problem (yet).
If it was too big then we would just find another site that would accept it.

It's more the pod style tents that tent to sprawl that you may get more of a problem with.

    Tell a lie - sorry
We had the Sun Valley 6 when we went to Brighouse Bay last October and it was too big for their EHU pitched by 0.4m. The y gave us special permission to pitch it . There were a total of 0 tents when we got there and after 3 days 2 other tents arrived and pitched.

It tends to be the more commercial type sites that have set pitch sizes.

Agreed, our footprint is similar to the Sun Valley 8 and we've not really had any problems. We have just asked when booking but we've never been turned away.
